On the 1st of April 2015,
A new gaming clan has been formed
called Insomnia Gaming.
We play multiple games and not just one,
since every gamer is playing multiple games.
We own a few gaming servers
which can sometimes change of game
when it isn't popular or used anymore.
We also own a teamspeak 3 server
so we are able to communicate while playing
and can play together as one.
We are also a social clan and love a nice talk, even when we are not gaming.
If you wish to join us make sure you ,
have read the rules.
If you are 14 years old check
the members list first to see ,
if there are slots open for Junior members ( maximum 4 junior members.)
It is wise to check other sections on our website as well before applying to join us.
When you have read the rules use the contact form and provide us with some details.

CLAN RULES
To become a member you have to be at least 16 years old.
When you are (at least) 14 years old you can apply to become a junior member. ( 4 slots max.)
You must have a microphone and teamspeak installed.
You must be able to talk English on a level so that everyone can understand you.
You must be active and come online regulary.
When a member can't be online for a certain period this has to be reported to one of the clan leaders or officers.
Failing to report that you are going to be in-active will most likely result in losing your membership status.
You will still be welcome as a regular guest.
Always respect other players, whether they are part of the clan or not.
NEVER insult other players, in chat or teamspeak.
This also includes racism and discrimination.
If somebody does say bad or nasty things about you, be the mature one and ignore it.
Cursing and swearing can damage our image and could even result in a permanent ban.
When you are caught cheating or hacking you will be banned from our clan and servers forever.
TEAMSPEAK RULES
Do not come online when your completly drunk.
When you got a bad quality microphone/headset or if there is an echo, you MUST use Push-To-Talk to prevent other members getting annoyed.
If there is need for a new channel ask one of the clan leaders or officers.
WHEN YOU GET INTO A FIGHT OR BEING HARASSED
Report this to a clan leader or officer so they can deal with the situation and correct the person doing you wrong and maybe even punish them.
If you don't report it we can't help you.
NEVER take matters into your own hands.
NEVER take revenge, even when you have been wronged.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A MEMBER BREAKS ONE OR MORE RULES
RECEIVE A TEMPORARY BAN
A ban for a certain amount of time.
RECEIVE A PERMANENT BAN
A permanent ban on all our servers
and removal of the membership FOREVER.
CLAN LEADER
As the name says, these are the leaders and/or founders of the clan.
The leaders have the same obligations as the officers but are in main charge of the clan.
OFFICIER
The officer has to maintain order within the clan.
When there is an argument/fight between our clan members the officers have to take action.
The members involved in a fight will be questioned one by one in the admin channel to hear both sides of the story. ( This often happens under guidance of one of the clan leaders.)
The officer must always have a neutral stance and is not allowed to choose a side in order to come to a solution.
An officer is also responsible for recruiting new members.
The officer has also the responsibility to inform the clan leaders about the things mentioned above.
This rank can only be given out by one of the clan leaders.
GAME CARRIER
This rank will be given to members who have a lot of experience with a certain game.
The carrier has the duty to help other members out who are new at the game the carrier has been assigned to.
The carrier has to explain and teach how the game works and guide the members while playing the game.
A carrier also has to advise on how the member can improve their gameplay.
At the description of each teamspeak (game) channel there is info about who is the carrier of that game.
BENEFACTOR
These are people who have donated to our clan. ( member or non-member)
When donated (at least 5 $ ) the donator will get a donator status for the rest of the year.
The donator will get a reserved slot on our game servers during that year.
MEMBER
When you are a member you have permission to use the file browser on teamspeak.
In the lobby channel every members has their own folder to upload files like screenshots and share it with others.
However, make sure that your files are not too large because teamspeak has its upload and download limitations.
In the file browers of the game lobby you can find several games and software you can download.
JUNIOR MEMBER
This rank will be given to players who want to join us, but aren't old enough to join us ( minimum 16 years old )
You can become a junior member when you are at least 14 years old.
When you are a junior member you are under strict supervision.
If you can't behave you will be remove your rank and kick you from the clan.
NEVER ask if you can become a normal member.
You will become a normal member when the clan-leaders think you are ready for it or when you've reached the proper age to become one.
If you do ask about this you will be kicked from the clan and are not allowed back in for at least a year.
There is a maximum of 4 junior members in total so check if the slots are full before applying.
REGULAR GUEST
These people often play together with the clan but can't or don't want to become a member.
VIP
VIPs are donators who have donated at least 25 euros.
Like donators VIPs get a reserved slot on our game servers and can get some perks and/or items. ( depending on the game)
You will keep your VIP status for 1 year.
Being a VIP does not give you the right to break any of the rules or disrespect other people.
Doing so might result in you loosing your VIP status and/or getting banned.
